After the lukewarm reception to Weezers third album, The Green Album, Rivers wanted
decided to keep their fans close during the creation of the album. Every song that was worked on would be uploaded
to the public for feedback. It is an interesting point in time for the band and the record is often unfairly glossed over for how good it truly is.

This is by far the goofiest peice of music that I own. My friend Tommy and I used to listen to this around
Christmas time because we always thought it was funny. One day I was shopping for records
and there is the Jingle Cats cassette staring right at me, I don't think I had a choice but to buy it.
Be warned! This song WILL get stuck in your head!

Format: CD
I would not say I am the biggest Steely Dan Fan, but my dad gave me this CD when I was 10 years old, so it's pretty special to me.
2008
Format: CD
This is the first album I ever owned. I saw the music video for "Pork and Beans" and told
my mom that the new weezer album was all I wanted for my birthday.

My mom is a huge XTC fan and she gave me this CD when I was pretty young. I honestly
am not too crazy about the album, but I think its overall a very fun listen.
1986
Format: Cassette
This cassette was in the same booth as Jingle Cats at the flea market in the Poconos.
The woman selling all the items told me that I had to buy 3 cassette tapes if I wanted to get Jingle Cats for a quarter. So I grabbed this little jem.
1987
Format: Cassette
This is the second Cassette I grabbed in order to buy Jingle Cats.
I cant say I'm the biggest grassroots fan, but there are some pretty good songs here!
